Creative Projects
Cindy’s early photographic work is heavily influenced by her work travel, her love of portraiture, and her nascent interest in softly-focused landscape photography.
Cindy’s current work is primarily focused on finding a publisher for her manuscript for Ancestral Landscapes,: Searching for my place in then world, a collection of essays on her multi-layered investigation of the meaning of the many migrations that brought her life to this place and time. Begun as a writing project, it expanded to include, photographs she took of places her ancestors left in Europe and the places they settled in the continent known as America. She also is presently working on a collaborative photography project, Double Exposure, an exploration of friendship and time, and an individual project, documenting a year on The Farm at Penny Lane where she volunteers weekly. Three additional photographic projects —Africa, Winter Garden, and Two—provide examples of some of her previously exhibited images.
