A Year at The Farm at Penny Lane is an in-progress photo project documenting the seasonally-changing beauty of this therapy farm in Chatham County, North Carolina where I have been volunteering every week for the past five years. I began taking color photographs with my 35mm Pentax K-1000 camera the first volunteer session in January and have been taking them every time I am there ever since. My plan is to curate a set of images organized by season to be used for multiple to-be-determined purposes at the end of the year. Most likely I will create a photobook and hope to find opportunities to exhibit a subset of book images as prints. I am looking into also producing a calendar that the farm can use for fund-raising.
